April 28, 2017 – Signing of MoU with Swades Foundation
NABFINS has signed an MOU with Swades Foundation in charting a new path for improving the livelihoods of the marginalised segments in the unbanked hinterlands of Raigad district in Maharastra. As the first part of this joint endeavour, NABFINS and Swades Foundation are collaborating to improve the livelihoods of over 2500 rural entrepreneurs who are engaged in daily activities through an Integrated Value Chain approach. The grand launching organised in Mahad on 28 April 2017, was attended by Shri. J. K. Mohapatra, IAS (Retd), Chairman, NABFINS, Dr. B S Suran, Managing Director, NABFINS, Shri Ronnie Screwwala, and Ms. Zarina Screwvala, Founding Trustee, Swades Foundation.
