Cattle Insurance through Paperless & Digital Process Using RFID Technology

NABFINS Limited in partnership with HDFC Ergo General Insurance Company Limited has recently launched Cattle Insurance Product adopting paperless, digital process for enrollment and claim using RFID Technology for tagging. NABFINS Vijayapura branch has financed women dairy enterpreneurs adopting a Joint Liability Group model of direct lending in Tajpur Village of Vijayapura District of Karnatka.
1st batch of tagging has been done on March 1, 2018 covering 32 members of 8 Joint Liability Groups covering a loan amount of ₹16,00,000/- (Rs. Sixteen Lakh) on March 1, 2018.
