Shri Anjum Parwez is an IAS officer of the 1994 batch from the Karnataka cadre. All along with career as an IAS officer, he has served various departments in Karnataka and has rich and varied experience and knowledge in the fields of urban and rural development, water supply and transport. He had served Govt. of Karnataka in various capacities, to name a few: Principal Secretary (Transport), Managing Director (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited) etc. Shri Anjum Parwez holds a degree in B.Tech from the prestigious IIT, Delhi and PGPM from IIM Bangalore. He is currently serving as the Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department w.e.f July 01, 2023.
