Shri S K Giri is a career banker with 38 years of experience in various positions in commercial banking operations in India of which 19 years in Technology Strategy, Banking Technology implementation, Project Management, Operations and Consulting that includes setting up of IT Framework and infrastructure in new banks – both universal bank and payments bank. His expertise includes Technology Visioning, Strategy Formulation and Planning for commercial banks, Process Convergence and adoption of new technology; Business Strategy, Profit Planning and Growth Strategy; Risk Management Policy Formulation and Implementation; Product Requirements Analysis, Product Design and Process etc.

Shri Giri holds a Masters’ degree in Arts and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He also holds a post-graduation diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. He is appointed as Director on the Board of the Company with effect from February 25, 2019.

Primarily an ex-banker from Bank of Baroda, wherein he served for around three decades (1978-2007) and was subsequently actively involved in guiding various organizations in varied capacities which inter alia include Sr. Business Analyst & Project Manager at Quinnox Consultancy Services Limited (2007-2011); Chief Operating Officer (Core Banking Solution) at NABARD (2011-2013); Head, Banking Transformation Project at Bandhan Bank (2013-2015), etc.
