NABFINS Business Expansion in Madhya Pradesh

NABFINS opened its District Office in Bhopal on 20 September 2017. It is the 4th District Office of NABFINS in Madhya Pradesh. The office was inaugurated by Shri K R Rao, CGM, NABARD Madhya Pradesh RO. Shri O P Dhoundiyal GM, Manoj Chalakh DGM, Abhishek Pathak RM, and local NGO partners were present at the occasion. NABFINS is presently operating in 19 districts in the state with cumulative disbursements exceeding Rs. 36 crore.

The state has also been selected for the Pilot Project for providing credit linkage to the SHGs under the NABARD sanctioned SHG- Bank Linkage projects. A SHPI review meeting was held in the MP RO Bhopal on 20 September 2017 wherein the process of empanelling the SHPIs as Business partners of NABFINS was explained and the operational process for credit linkage of the SHGs was also explained.

NABARD Madhya Pradesh RO has entered into a MoU with the Madhya Pradesh Mahila Vitt Nigam (MPMVN) for supporting their IFAD assisted Tejaswani project. The NABFINS team also had exploratory discussion with the MD of the MPMVN for working as financing partner under the project. The project has promoted about 16,000 SHGs which need financial support for taking up income generation activities
