The collaboration with M-SWASTH, a leading digital health service provider, pioneer in OPD care in India, NABFINS aims to bridge the gap in healthcare delivery among its clientele through technology, enhancing the accessibility and affordability of healthcare services. The MoU was signed by Dr. Diwakar Hedge, Managing Director of NABFINS and Mr. Neeraj Maheswar, CEO & Co-Founder of M-SWASTH. Senior officials from NABFINS including Shri Mohan Prasad, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, NABFINS, all the Department Heads and senior executives from M-Swasth were present during the occasion.

The collaboration between NABFINS and M-Swasth will enable NABFINS’ borrowers to access to a wide range digital healthcare services, including online consultations, OPD services, basic health check-up, digital prescription delivery and medicines in E-Clinics operating within NABFINS’ Branches. The service will also be available 24X7 through tele-consultations in vernacular languages through a dedicated toll-free number, website or a mobile app. The beneficiaries can avail these services at a very affordable cost of ₹265/- per family per annum.

Shri Mohan Prasad, Chief Operating Officer, NABFINS shared that this service is initially implemented as pilot in NABFINS’ 25 branches across 7 states, i.e. Bihar, Odisha, Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and shall be scaled up gradually across other branches based on feedback from pilot.

Dr. Diwakar Hegde, Managing Director, NABFINS shared that the MoU is a significant step taken-up by NABFINS in its endeavour to improve the health and well-being of poor borrowers and their family members in addition to offering credit. This will also help to reduce the burden of large Out-of-Pocket Expenditures incurred by rural clientele hailing from a low-income segment in availing quality healthcare services and will deliver a value proposition to its borrowers and rural clientele.
